Description
The Pool depicts a couple in a moment of leisure at a swimming pool. The aerial view of the subjects makes the scene appear as though it was captured by a drone eavesdropping on a private moment between two lovers. Consistent with the artist’s approach to cubism, he applies heavy brush strokes, bold outlines and high-contrasting colors to add movement, and to focus the viewer on the subjects and the scenery.
