Description
Spades is a limited-edition work that reprises the 1970’s theme from the artist’s exhibit held in 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia. As was the case for the collection curated for that exhibit, the artist uses contemporary subjects as muse. He incorporates carefully-selected artifacts from that decade to define his composition. In this piece, the artist appears in the foreground along with the subject.
